Vaira is a suspense thriller released this week which is directed by debutante Navarasan.
Vaira, is basically a revenge drama, but the director intelligently narrates it to cater all genre audience with good amount of friendship, love and thrilling scenes. He has made sure the screenplay is engaging enough for about 110mins.
Coming to the storyline, A wannabe Actress is found missing in Madikeri and the suspect is a photographer who shot her pics in an event and the investigation leads to a haunted house and the story unfolds.
The first half of the film seems slow because the screenplay looks a familiar one,but it takes good turn towards the interval. The post interval scenes are very engaging and audience are sure to glue to the seats.
The first time director Navarasan is impressive. The shot composition of few scenes doesn’t give the feel that he is a debutante. The pre interval and climax scene are composed very well. As a director he is here to stay.
The background score of Ravi Basrur is the major highlight of the film. Time and again he is proving to be the best in the business.
Apart from Tabala Nani and couple others, the rest of the cast is new and thy have justified their selection.
Tabala Nani is a treat to watch in this film. He has got a meaty role. Navarasan,Priyanka Malnad and Raghav(character name) performance stands out among others.
Overall Vaira is definitely watchable film if you are game for suspense thrillers. Worth spending this weekend watching this film.
