There are many directors in Kannada Industry who are well versed in directing Remake films, a new name which could be easily added to the list is Guru Deshpande.
Guru Deshpande who had tasted success through Rajahuli has picked a Tamil film "Adhe Kangal" this time.
This film falls into a crime thriller genre film with lot of humor and action sequences.
Chiru Sarja, who generally been lucky in Thriller Genre films has a bit of challenge in this film as he plays a blind man role in the first half of the film.
This film looks like a love triangle at the beginning, but it turns out be an investigation thriller. Movie majorly revolves around A Blind chef (Chiru Sarja)who falls for Nandini(Haripriya)and her childhood friend Janaki(Kavya Shetty)who loves him and a policeman Rajahuli(Chikkanna) who helps him in an investigation.
If you are wondering whether chiru Sarja was really blind or was he just acting as a blind person, will he marry Nandini or will he chose Janaki ? Why will he take up an investigation ? — it is for you to watch the movie on the big screen.
A fantastic surprise in the movie is of HariPriya’s who does a fabulous work in a never seen before character of her career. Kavya Shetty, the other leading lady of the film has done a neat job and has a good screen space.
Chiranjeevi Sarja had couple of shades to his character. His performance in both the shades is commendable. He is Too Good in Action Sequences.
It is Chikkanna who steals the show with his punching dialogues. The spoof of Kempegowda has worked well for the film. The sequences between him and Chiru sarja are the biggest positive for this movie. Dialogue writer has written good witty lines for Chikkanna.
The supporting cast Tabala Nani, Yash Shetty, Aruna Balraj, Darshan, Manish have done a good job.
The film starts slow, but picks up well after the first twist. Second half is the real winner among the two halves of the flick. It is very gripping, especially the pre-climax and Climax scenes are effectively shot.
Ravi Basrur once again wins in BGM part and fails to create magic through his songs. The Action Scenes are very well choreographed while the Editing is neat.
